Den Den town is the electronics district of Osaka; it's the western-Japan version of Akihabara. As for rivaling Akiba... hrm. Den Den town is surprisingly good for being so much smaller than Akiba. There are several dedicated retro game stores too. The prices there are lower too... albeit not by as much as I'd (we'd

) like. I think Akiba is better for rare stuff just because more people go there - it has the advantage of numbers and fame. Don't look down on Den Den though, it's an excellent place to shop too. Plus if you diss Osaka I'll get medival on you.
Harmful Park cost me 6200 yen with no spine card. The disc is in great shape though. I would've paid more.

Was that a good deal? I have no idea - this really is the first copy I've seen in Akiba over the course of nine months.
Trader 2 changed it's layout last month, and for the worse. They turned the retro games floor into a used DVD floor and crammed -all- the used games onto the first. Most of the rare games are gone, I have no idea what they did with them.

GaijinPunch's map is really good. I've walked Akiba many, many times - I can say with certainty that his map will help.
Super Potato is awesome for selection but I can't say too much about their prices. Then again, you go to Akiba for the selection, not great deals.
