Search for the review of the game on this site for a basic explenation of the items and what they do.............done ? then,

accumulate a full weapon array on the first level (you can choose your favourite ship spead by catching some upside down 's' after you fully powered up your ship). Use the Laser or Side armour on the first boss.

Make sure you buy or collect Nuke Armour (am) for the stage 2 boss. Use homing (collectable stage 1) / shield/shot- am (collectible stage 2) to get you there more safely (the game tends to throw harder enemies at you when using am/ when amount of collected am's is max though).

Stage 3: collect either Thunder or Phoenix for the last boss, and as many others as you can because things will get slightly harder from here on. I always prefer homing and shot am's to get me through the stage but feel free to create your own strategies. Like with Laser, hold the special weapon function when using Phoenix am and stay slightly below the boss, burning him with your wings. Pretty heh ?

By now you should be comfortable with the game, be sure to save as many coins/am for the sixth and final stage though, you'll need them all.

Hi all, I'm not trying to sound like a smartass here but, I'm yet to see any Playthrough for this Great game that shows any real expert play. This guy is better than 1 or 2 others, but still not great (at-least he knew how to use "Shield" correctly). ...But common problems I see, shooting the power-ups away/changing their order/turning them into Golds, the Best way is to collect them is in the order they come. ...Not know how to collect Bonus Ships, eg Part 1/2 then 3. I keep seeing them panic, getting 1 or 2 parts, then Part 1 of another and miss out all together. You can pick up 3 Bonus Armour ships in the first stage alone if you play Hard. ...Get all your power ups, then use a ship like Thunder for safety, or use it's power when you're inevitably going to be hit hard. ...Buy the Correct ships at end of stages, Not the ships the next stage gives you, eg Don't buy "Blackhole" when the game is going to give it to you shortly. ...Save some Golds for later in the game, you will Need it. You don't have to buy "Everything you can", And if you do the game will PUNISH you. ...Never use an "Armour safety ship" at the start of a stage as you will lose the chance to "Power up" with Speed, Missiles, Lasers. Get your "K's" just incase you screw up. If you play well you should get to Stage 2 Boss Without losing a life/ship, or losing an Armour ship just yet. All this sets you up well for the harder stages ahead.
