Damn! And I just found my original Darius avatar on my backups that I made on my old offices Mac G4. I thought that it was gone for good! Could that be a good omen?
Well, I can settle for a Darius Gaiden XBLA/PSN release. If it can eventually lead to a similar release of G. Darius and/or a completely new Darius title in the future (G.Rev developing it would be fantastic), I'm that much more for it.

Throw in some Treasure and it might as well be as spiritual as, say, Radiant Silvergun.
You can be sure that if a new Darius surfaces it will be made by some new recruits 'so that they can get their feets wet and learn the ways of the system. Who cares about these so called shooting games anyway, right?'
It's going to be a Role Play'em Up, where you can forge spiritual closeness with the bosses, and then have them mate and raise their offspring. And once you get all the possible combinations of offspring (Eight Feet Histeric Titanic Lance Empress Legendary EX SP) you fight a metallic version of CloudiRoth Leonhart Omega Ultimate Final so you can get the white materia to revive Tellah.
Squenix will manage to screw it up, just you wait.

Music like the PCEngine Super Darius II wouldn't be bad either IMO. The remixes of Olga Breeze and Jamming used in this one are nice.
