Because i haven't played BM yet, i can't say.
but i think this game a really good.
Bosses a very creative...

Never said I don't wanna - it's just that I'm on a laptop and without an usb pad - therefore I can just try them for some minutes. So yeah, I launched both roms again, and yes, Battlemania2 sounds and looks cooler... Although not really to-die-for cooler. These are just first stage impressions, mind you.

Yeah, need to try to 1cc it, remember getting stuck on stage 5

Been collecting MD stuff for the last few months... got a loose cart of Trouble Shooter for real cheap, both BMs are out of my range though. Gonna try some BM2 in emu now... why's the first BM have so much sexier box art than the second?

Because they knew that way I would buy two copies
Anyway, this game seems decent but not one of the best ever. Not sure about score attack (I think that's in 2)...could be worthwhile but it seemed just like part of the first stage.
Just gave Trouble Shooter some attention recently. Not a bad game. The mechanics get a bit funky at times, but it was much better than I had remembered and has a certain not-too-serious feel to it that is highly enjoyable (because the gameplay is 50% relentless). BM2 is a much better game by a long shot, but it's also fairly low on my cart buying list.
