TOM-STGT SuperFestival: Gaiapolis (EVERYONE CAN PARTICIPATE)
for ninja knights in later stages you should slash until you knock them down, then run away
this works because you're flinching them while they attempt counter
but after you knock them down they'll be able actually do their double slash counter before you flinch them again

I'm still having trouble there, but I'm getting the hang of it. Managed to reach stage 8.

Ruldra - Prince - Stage 8 - 3182
Looking at the world map (after clearing stage 4), you see that Gaiapolis world resembles our own. Avalon is England, the Second Key battle is somewhere in the Bering Strait, the Third Key battle is somewhere in Mexico, and Gaiapolis itself is in the South Pacific.
Also, in the whole world they have like, what, 10 cities?

Okay, for the last couple of days the 5th boss has been kicking my ass, but I can finally beat him every time now.
- Hit him once, then get away. If he throws a pattern, wait for it to finish then move in again. Just DON'T get hit by him; he deals massive damage.
- Always stay below him. Staying above or on his sides will make you get hit.
- There's a couple health items on the top right corner. But if the screen scrolls right, then left, they will disappear (very annoying bug, especially here). So you have to stay on the left side of the screen; when you need health, go there.
- Don't bother using magic. He's immune while doing his attacks.
That's all I can say. This is a tough battle, but with practice you can take him down.
Regarding score, did very little improvement. I'm getting owned by the 'ninja knights'. I keep attacking them, but they always end up hitting me back. And there are too many of them later on.

Theres a little trick on stage 5 with the fruit near the beginning. Make the screen scroll so that the fruit is partially revealed, then RUN to the top (which wont make the screen scroll) and then start hacking at the fruit, and the box the fruit is on wont be destroyed. You can keep hacking at the fruit as long as you want but remember to give yourself some time left to do the rest of the stage, once time runs out a huge ass dragon comes and smashes you. Its actually possible to avoid the dragons fire by running to the top of the screen, but its tricky.Ruldra wrote:Macaw, I'll have to ask how the HECK did you manage to get 4000+ points by stage 8. Unless you did some heavy milking at stage 5, I see no way to get that many points on a normal run.
you slash them until you knock them down the run away
they counterattack when they get up
You might have to knock them down with familiar or dash attack if they start ganging up on you
the birdman boss in that stage is a wuss btw lol
but the key battle after that = woah
how the hell u dodge super dragon turtle of doom
and who knows what horrifying forms come after that
