go for a red bull!
Red Bull's the last thing I need!

All I was thinking having read the New Scientist article over Easter was that if, as the article states, cannabis slows your perception of the passage of time, and considering the focus on athletes slowing perception of time to aid performance, perhaps a recreational drug notorious for spacing you out could actually be a performance enhancing drug for shmups.

I know that grossly simplifies the articles comments on the drug! And frankly, I'm pretty sure a spliff just makes you feel better about your playing than actually making you play better....

Anyway, there was far more interesting stuff in the article than the stuff about boring old drugs, so perhaps I shouldn't shift the emphasis any further...

Outside of that, it's not bad. Enhasa is right though. Some of the cutscenes sometimes last longer than FFX (10) ones. That is, if you don't turn off the TV, macro the A button, and walk away.
I guess it shows that the last Zelda game I seriously played is A Link To The Past. I´ll never get over the sailing in Wind Waker, it completely destroyed the game for me. And I couldn´t stand playing Phantom Hourglass for more than 10 minutes, as as soon as I realized I had to get on a stupid BOAT again I just left that alone. I´ve played through ALTTP maybe five times since I was 8 - I think it just has a fantastic flow and also a very captivating atmosphere without drowning you in text.

My point, however, is that it lacks all the typical (pseudo)RPG elements - leveling up, turn based "combat", running around empty fields until enemies randomly pop up, etc... It´s just an fantasy adventure game completely build around how a videogame should be.

If you look at the youtube vid, the rat that’s had cannabis has slowed down, not time.
Cannabis rat probably likes Touhou.
