misinformation. personally, i think the main impotus for the original arcade team to make a HD port of ikaruga for the 360 was to improve their programming abilities on the machine (for the release of their un-named new shooter). updating silvergun would be far more work in terms of content, and saturn ports are generally a bitch.

Expecting it next week. I think it's GameSpot that usually highlights Live titles a week in advance on some web stream. Apparently it's coming out 04/09, Ikaruga page on japanese xbox.com site that appeared for a short time said so... page's gone now though.

I just downloaded this. Treasure did a really good job on the graphics. Subtle, but obviously improved, especially on some of the bosses.
I wonder why they cut out the intro screen?
