XRGB-3 and Sega Saturn FPGA B1 mode?

Post by redfish »

Hey,

I am trying to use my SS in FPGA B01 mode but it looks like it's on acid, all the colors are psychedelic, like a negative or something. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? thanks.

Scart port set to YPbPr instead of RGB ? Just a guess though...

On the sega saturn or the xrgb-3? I didnt know there was a YPRPB setting for the scart port on the xrgb-3. I know there isn't on the saturn. I also have it hooked up via composite, so.. scart / jrgb settings probably are not going to effect it.

B1 mode in the FPGA bank is XRGb-2 mode, supposedly except it seems to not be compatible with ANYTHING. And its pissing me off.

B1 actually works fine, but I remember there was some issue with the DVI output of the XRGB3 *WHILE* in B1 mode. If you have easy access to a VGA cable you could try using VGA instead of DVI for the B1 output.
