I thought you wanted expert opinions. You keep buying all of the broken ports and mediocre games. Not that you shouldn't enjoy them, but seriously.black flag nc wrote: This week, I got Raiden III (PS2) and Strikers 1945 (PS1). Both are a lot of fun.
So how bout some help from the experts?

Dude, I'm stuck with US releases. That's awesome that you guys know all these imports, but it does me no good. I can't spend $100 bucks modifying a system, then spend another $60-$70 on importing a game. I'm on a budget, brutha!Rob wrote:I thought you wanted expert opinions. Those two games cost me $15(Raiden III) and $10 bucks(Srikers 1945). I can deal with that.

Yeah, I'm saying that you're buying the worst of domestically released games instead of the games people suggested.black flag nc wrote: Dude, I'm stuck with US releases. Make sure you try Raiden III double mode. It may seem too hard initially, but it's the best way to play the game, believe me.black flag nc wrote:My crappy collection grows!

People who says Raiden III is crap surely haven't played it on double mode. It's like the game was designed around this mode.

Oh man, that double mode rocks. You're right, it takes some getting used to but that's an awesome way to play a shmup.Shatterhand wrote: Make sure you try Raiden III double mode. It may seem too hard initially, but it's the best way to play the game, believe me.
Update: Have Thunderforce V coming off ebay and on my payday, I'm gonna snag Gradius V. See, I am listening to you good folks!

Sorry to waste your time. Ignore me from now on, Rob.Rob wrote:I own less shooters than you've bought since this thread started. Don't get me wrong guys, I appreciate the help. It just may take me a while to get to some of the more expensive ones, like R-type Delta. My gaming budget isn't what it used to be, dude.
Plus it's only been a few weeks since I started this topic, so as time goes by I'll be buying as much as cashflow allows. Thanks again.
