Sure there is. You can change the region on your 360 (not that I think this is a good idea), and you can modify your joysticks to comply with microsoft's intentionally broken USB HID implementation. Gee, wonder who posted specific info on how to do both of those things?bloodflowers wrote: 2) There's nothing you can do about it.
Everyday shooter is more modern and interesting (imho) than anything available on XBL currently. The future is another story . . .List the 'modern' shmups coming to the PS3. Actually, try to think of even one.
Name me one exporter that has been sued into the ground for selling GAMES. Lik-sang was sued into the ground for selling hardware and modchips. They're the ones who sue exporters into the ground for selling games on their "region free" consoles.
Source? Something tells me it was probably the courts, not sony, making anything illegal. Even if this was true, good. Modchips should be illegal if all they are useful for is pirating software, not defeating (nonexistent) region locks. They're the ones who got even /owning/ a modchip made illegal in parts of Europe.
SCEI has about as much relation to Sony BMG as I do to you. They're the ones who thought it was acceptable to put a root kit on customers PCs.
Bottom line? The PS3 sitting in my living room hasnt broken, is extremely quiet, and will play pretty much whatever I want to put in it. The 360 sitting in my living room is a replacement for the first one that was defective out of the box, still sounds like a fucking jet engine, and will require major surgery if i want to play ketsui on it.Why are you guys giving Sony such an easy ride though?
