Yes! This looks amazing! Thanks for sharing the news!
It's such a shame danmaku can't be done on an actual 8 bit computer, due to the colision detection issues that would invariably arise, not to mention the number of sprites on screen rendering it unplayable, but this still looks awesome.
Also, I would be in heaven if the music was actually in NSF format

As far as I can remember about this Famicom arrangement...
Super Laydock, I definitely have to agree with you there... this new game is such a truly smolderingly awesome Famicom arrangement of Embodiment of Scarlet Devil indeed, and even though I have NEVER played a Touhou-based shmup before in my life, I actually enjoyed the living hell out of this amazing little demo indeed!!! No lie about that. d=

In fact, you can see the game in action on YouTube right here:

I cannot wait for this to be blossomed into a full game... I mean, listen, with such amazing playability and phenomenal NES-based music, imagine the sheer possibilities!! A complete Famicom arrangement of Guwange on the PC, perhaps? I don’t know, we will just have to see.

I'd get a nes repro cart of the game if a rom was released, but sadly, that just can't happen as the game is now.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.
