Who else got theirs? I'm mainly playing God. That's to say, I played exactly two credits on Original and two on Maniac. Good stuff. Glad I got it. God is like a "possible" Ultra.

I've read people are cleaing God w/ 1.8 bil. I myself can get 1 billion on stage 3 and I suck. Even the guy in the video pisses away tons of points... 150 million on the 2nd stage boss alone.

wow the price on futari 1.5 really crashed.. there are plenty up on yahoo for ~50-60K.. even full kits!

Those are starting prices for auctions, not market prices. Wait to see where they end. Recent kits have ended at 80-100K on YJ, I'd expect similar prices for the ones currently up now. Bare boards could go for as cheap as 60K-70K though (which is what they've been selling for for awhile now).

A few things I'm noticing are enemy placement as well. In the fourth stage, there is no moth at the beginning (though they kick your ass later) and the beginning building in the last stage looks different. I don't think I'll go back to my regular 1.5 board its that good!

I think I'll still play 1.5 a lot. It's got Ultra, and a lot of the people who've played BL say they prefer 1.5's Maniac mode. I also like flying around the screen with Abnormal Reco sometimes.

If I ever clear God I will be tempted to try Ultra seriously. But, I know it will take months (many months) to pull out a clear, so it's kind of useless.

I got the whole false confidence thinking I could get through the first board of Ultra after clearing the first two of God mode. Oh so wrong on that one. Ultra got to the point where it lost its charm. For some people I'm sure it is perfect, but the actual 'playing to memorizing' ratio killed it for me.

God Mode is no piece of cake. Saying it's easier than Ultra doesn't mean it's easy. If you don't play for score there are many places that become easier (bosses) as you don't have to delay at all, and you can bomb through the rought parts. The maniac/god scoring mechanism makes the game harder by default. You can play Ultra w/o ever looking at your meter. To score properly you will have to check the meter from time to time, and you will die if you do it at the wrong time.

Also, the slowdown isn't perfected. At least w/ Reco, laser causes way more slow down than shot (opposite of 1.5 Maniac). So, if you're in a nice, crazy slowed down mess w/ your laser, and realize you're not going to make it, going into shot (or just letting go) can very well fuck you.

Though I only played 1.5 once so no idea how it compares.

Any word on the print run - was it 100/150 or is that bs as per Ibara BL?

It was 150. It's either nearly sold out or already sold out. I know at least 100 have been sold.

Saw that the game was in my local arcade yesterday.

Great! I thought, dropped 100 yen in, and...nothing.

After fiddling around inside for a few minutes I got a "it doesnt seem to be working", and "2 free credits of a game of your choice" (which turned out to be Deathsmiles and Pink Sweets, neither of which I wanted to play)

At the torrent site there is a video of someone finishing god mode. Apparently there is no TLB. I thought I read somewhere that there was a different TLB in god mode than ultra, but maybe I am mistaken.

Well I got mine a few days ago, really like it but there are lots of times where I think "the only reason I survived that is because the PCB is totally overloaded". I think it's time for Cave to upgrade their hardware. God mode is nice, the original Mushi Ultra mode just crushed me like a bug in level 1, and I've never played standard Futari, but God isn't quite as brutal. As I described it to someone on IRC - it's still like taking a jackboot to the face, but with the steel caps removed.
