I really love the PC Engine, but I still hate the fact that NEC constantly inconvenienced gamers, just to get them to spend more cash on extra controllers, multiplayer adapters, etc. Can't give credit to that, no no.
Ah, but is it worth the additional expense get the proper hardware and controllers to play such a cool 5-player session of Bomberman '94, right? Priceless indeed -- I'll admit that I've had my ass handed to me on such 5-player sessions of BM-'94. Lol... ^_~
It's fun selecting the mini Bomberman character and playing on the igloo stage. By trying to hide underneath the igloos from everybody else when you're that small -- sometimes it works and other times, it doesn't..... ^_~
Bomberman '94 was released in the USA on the Sega Genesis platform under the title of "Mega Bomberman" but with only 4-players maximum capability -- I still prefer having five folks to join in on the fun that the original PCE version of BM-'94 has to offer + the crazy kangaroo characters that you can ride on is cool & hip..... ^_~
PC Engine Fan X! ^_~
