Please explain... and don't say "autofire hacks"... there are two seperate tables for that.
americans still think marvel vs capcom 2 is a good game
English still think chips are called crisps and french fries are called chips.
Maniac which, perversely, seemed easier than Original mode.
At times it is. Basically starting at stage 4 Manaic is somewhat painful, although after the mid-boss it chills out. Stage 5 is definitely rough if you don't have a nice pattern (and are playing for score).

Did you use Rapid fire for that Maniac score?

And as for your question, the answer is "no". :P
With some practice you'll be getting a score like that by the end of Stage 2.

It's the same hitbox as in Original mode.

With your score, bloodflowers is knocked out of the Maniac ranking. Icycalm is the new #30.

Are you sure? It seems as though the sphere's white outer-ring is not part of the collision zone in Maniac, as it is in Original.

I'll test it again tomorrow, which will of course mean playing more Maniac...damn!

Sorry by the way, Bloodflowers :P

You got this impression because even the bullets has their own hitboxes (they depend on the kind of bullet), but the one in Reko is always the same. Probably this is confirmed in the booklet of the dvd too, but I can't remember or check at the moment!

I'm glad you liked Arcturus, it's one of my favourite bands ever :)
The last part is the 4th boss, not mid-boss. Something quite undoable in an actual run

I didn't like the soundtrack either. It was so bad in fact I had to mute the volume after about 30 seconds.

Fun video to watch though. :)

I have some questions for you guys. I know that in arrange its best to sit right on top of the enemies as they come onscreen using the A shot. However, I've been wondering if it is a greter bonus than the one you recieve from a larger chain? That probably sounds really confusing so let me explain myself.
Example: In stage three, you run into a big three-eyed bug after the first power-up. Is it better to get right up in his face and kill him quickly for the proximity bonus, or graze him with the A shot and let the chain rise?
If it's better to graze him, then can the same be said for the large mantises that appear regularly throughtout the first half of level four?
Thanks in advance!
I'll post my high score later!
