Raiden III and Castle Shikigami II.
I'm (sort of) new to the whole wide world of Shmups, just starting to take them "seriously" and trying to actually get good at them after playing the odd Shmup casually for the last 15 years or so.
Raiden III is the most fun I've had with a game in ages.
Battle Garegga and DoDonPachi for Saturn should be in the mail next week.

Played more Under Defeat again... unlike last time, I kept my mistakes to a bare minimum... however, during one run, I still managed to get owned twice by the stage 1-5 boss... the only positive thing about this was that I was then getting the 300% bonus through the first four stages of loop 2. The run sadly ended near the beginning of stage 2-5 when I trapped myself in the corner while destroying the second large tank.

still struggling with 1cc'ing TRIZEAL (remember i play it co-op so my sessions with this game are quite seldom)
lvl 1-4 are no longer a problem at all but in lvl 5 the stupid deaths start coming:
be it
- at the lvl-start forgetting about the very fast firing big green ships from ahead or the small red ones coming from behind
- still getting killed by the streets (will we ever learn?)
- screwing up in the turret-section (nowadays preferably by colliding with them instead of getting shoot down *rolleyes*)
but our day will come...
