Shienryu,

Raiden III and Castle Shikigami II.

I'm (sort of) new to the whole wide world of Shmups, just starting to take them "seriously" and trying to actually get good at them after playing the odd Shmup casually for the last 15 years or so.

Raiden III is the most fun I've had with a game in ages.

Battle Garegga and DoDonPachi for Saturn should be in the mail next week.

ESP Ra.De, finally. Alot of that last night.

And today, alot of Senko no Ronde. Cuilan and Mika are the ones I use most.

And dangit, Fabian needs to hold the heck still when Im waving my giant sword of orbital DOOM at him. He keeps....... moving around. I hate effort.

Bio Metal, just downloaded that tonight.

Very fun concept. Though the main weapons could be designed a bit better; they're still functional though.

Love the shield and it's many uses.

Played more Under Defeat again... unlike last time, I kept my mistakes to a bare minimum... however, during one run, I still managed to get owned twice by the stage 1-5 boss... the only positive thing about this was that I was then getting the 300% bonus through the first four stages of loop 2. The run sadly ended near the beginning of stage 2-5 when I trapped myself in the corner while destroying the second large tank.

Right now I'm playing Hyper Duel.

I thought this was gonna be a quick 1CC (hey, it's Tecnosoft ;) ), but hell no, this game is actually hard! You can tell that its origins are in the arcade. :?

I'm testing ESPGaluda and Gradius V because they arrived in the mail over the weekend. Waiting to test Gunbird 2, Giga Wing, and Mars Matrix. Apparently the DC boot disc I have requires a VMU. Acquiring...

Just played some Gigawing 2 for the first time in a while. its one of the only shmups I can 1CC, and thats on a good day.

I bounce between Mame, DC, Sat, and PS2... undecided on if I should order TriggerHeart in the meanwhile.

Fire Shark - Got the 1cc in easy mode. Want to clear it in normal now. Really fun game.

Batrider - Not playing it as much as I should, but still giving it a couple whirls here and there.

Dodonpachi - I need to stop playing this game. Bullet hell is just not my thing any more.

Jets'n'Guns Gold, I'm half addicted to the weapons and graphics and half irritated by the uneven difficulty and by some glitches. Does anybody knows whether it loops?

Just acquired Raiden III, going for an arcade difficulty 1CC. Haven't made it past the Lv3 boss yet.

still struggling with 1cc'ing TRIZEAL (remember i play it co-op so my sessions with this game are quite seldom)

lvl 1-4 are no longer a problem at all but in lvl 5 the stupid deaths start coming:

be it

- at the lvl-start forgetting about the very fast firing big green ships from ahead or the small red ones coming from behind

- still getting killed by the streets (will we ever learn?)

- screwing up in the turret-section (nowadays preferably by colliding with them instead of getting shoot down *rolleyes*)

but our day will come...
