Yeah, we all have our own preferences on that.

What? Where? All I see is a link to the Chuka Taisan screenshots... and when you say 'its cancelled'... do you mean Chuka Taisan or Kiki kaikai 2 ??

EDIT: Ok, I see it now. Dammit, I was looking forward to this... its actually been the ONLY incoming game that I've been looking forward to. I'm gonna go sulk for a while.

Boy, this is impressive. With this news, exactly one half of the games I've really looked forward to this year have been cancelled.

Yeah, same here. The other game having been Odin Sphere.

I guess this means $60 more towards my Tenshi No Juusha fund.

sux....
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

I was interested because it was kikikaikai, but it didn't look all that interesting. I'm certain I'll find something better to play.

Bugger. I've spent next to nothing on games this year, and this was going to be a definite buy. I'm pretty disappointed. :(

Guess I have to file this one right next to PS2 Ketsui and the US GC release of Radirgy. :(

http://blog.wired.com/games/2007/08/ful ... kai-w.html
As it turns out, Kiki Kai World is not the Kiki KaiKai (Pocky and Rocky) sequel that was announced and cancelled. However, it is by the same developer, is "very similar" to the cancelled game, and is more of a "spiritual successor," says UFO.
Ok, so it's not the Starfish Kiki Kai 2, or am I just missing the point completely?

From what I can tell, the art direction looks the same (which isn't like the originals, unfortunately) and it's also developed by Starfish. However, "isn't the same". Not like anyone will know...there was hardly any material released for the "original remake" or whatever you want to call it. I won't shoot it down until I see it. I am somewhat excited though.

If it's real, will it be a US-only release? How come it seems the only news has come from UFO and I haven't heard anything about a Japanese version?

Big change, no more "Sayo-chan"

For US (PS2) Kiki Kai World and Japan (Wii) it's called "Yukinko Daisenpuu: Sayuki to Koyuki no Hiehie Daisoudou"

Whoa, she's sexy now. But I will miss Sayo...

Who is publishing the Wii version? I see nothing on Starfish's site.
