I just got a 1996 Nissan Maxima SE a few weeks ago. I really love it, maximas are my favorite cars (my previous car was a 1993 Maxima GXE).
I frequent forums.maxima.org quite a bit.
Anyway, use this thread to discuss all things automotive.

I bought it 2004 and it is complete "bone stock" (I'm getting too old for this tunning shitTWE wrote:350Zs are really cool. I see a lot of them on the roads here in Hawaii. What year is your 350Z? Have any pics?

someday i wouldn't mind driving around a silvia, watching the d1gp makes you want one. s14 or s15.. here in the states we're limited, we can get an s14 and outfit it to look like an s15..eight wrote:Future ride (hopefully): Nissan S14 Kouki with a Ings D-Spec bodykit and a lotta stuff under the hood.

FDs are nice... gotta finish up with the FC first... it is in pieces on the garage floor. i'm in the middle of a motor swap (rear rotor is blown), dropping an s5 block with a haltech or wolf3d.Sparky wrote:Nice cars bay. I actually used to drive the same model FC when I first got my license a few years ago.
Looking at purchasing an Mazda RX-7 FD sometime soon.
Some of us wish that was a reasonable option.eight wrote:Current ride:
Public transport. Sad
My thoughts exactly, which explains why I drive a Toyota Corolla. It's a great car for people who don't give a rat's ass about cars.Michaelm wrote:A car takes you from point A to B.
That's it purpose.
I really like walking, weather permitting. I used to walk to work at my old job whenever it was decent outside. It took about 20-25 minutes, as opposed to a 2 minute drive. It woke me up in the morning and let me wind down after work (I sit in a cubicle programming all day). I'm close enough to my current job to walk there, but there's no sidewalks and I don't trust cars and semis, especially on bridges.iatneH wrote:I hate walking, even for 10 minutes.
