I got Under Defeat... I really don't like it, it's system kind of bothers me, not that it's hard, but it's quite annoying when the copter is just slightly tilted instead of fully, also I can barely see the bullets on the screen since there's like almost no color in the game besides the small ass bullets.

Does anyone know if Karous/Karasu is out!? I NEED IT!

Well I'm not really a fan of 3D games in general, I do like Ikaruga of course, but DoD is just annoying because I don't like the graphics on anything and the gameplay just annoys me,, and the hit box is so blegh, now to try Radirgy and Trigger Heart :D

My big question (which I should probably just make a separate thread for) is this: which is the superior game between UD and Zero Gunner 2? They seem pretty similar to me, and, being poverty-striken as of late, I can't afford both (really can't afford either, but that's what credit cards are for, right?).

Under Defeat is pretty focused on scoring, where Zero Gunner 2 seemed a lot more laid back. ZG2 also seems a lot easier to me. Depends how big of a score hound you are, I usually play for survival myself.

Dude... just play it for a while. It really is a great game (although admittedly, not to everybody's taste). However, the controls, camera angle, accelerating bullets, etc. do feel a bit weird at first. Give it some time to let it sink in, and I think there's a good chance something will click and you'll like it. Of course, I could be wrong, but it really is an amazing game.

I never realized that UD was such a forum splitter. I disagree with the poster who talks about it being a 'scoring game' (what the hell?)

It IS a straight up, old school survival game and if I have any problem with it, it is how the first level is very boring and a little too long. Second and third levels are absolutely incredible however. The last level is definitely a bit of a ball-stomper, but you know, that's why its the last level.

I still don't get Radirgy, but am willing to put more time into it. I wish I'd waited for the crow game since I like the theme more, but am not sure I'm willing to get a game that doesn't seem to be much more than an upgrade.
