Er, he does know what he's talking about. Aside from the close call with Ketsui we recently learned about, there's been no mention of Cave ports for a long time.Gungriffon Geona wrote:he's just an ass. it'd be best to wait for someone who knows what they're talking about.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

Not if its a cave game where there's a bit in it where the screen scrolls backwards.
Apparently that is hell of difficult to program. Assembler, C+ and Basic get a right wobble on.

It's a fact.

It's not the scrolling that's the issue, lol.

And just try and program a background that scrolls backwards on PS2. It simply can't be done. Maybe our children's grandchildren will see that dream become a reality; certainly none of us will. Stop kidding yourselves.

Am I the only one that sees Xbox Live/PS3 Store as the perfect vehicle for SHMUPS to be released?
Imagine.....Ketsui, RSG, Espgaluda II downloadable for the price of a regular XBLA game.
The electronic delivery would certainly get past the publishing issue, as I imagine that is one of the major drawbacks in releasing SHMUPS today.

Or for free, for that matter, or they could even pay you money for every game you manage to 1CC. Ikeda could also sent his hos over to your place for free blowjobs. Especially the Pork girls who were at the AOU this year.jpolz wrote:Imagine.....Ketsui, RSG, Espgaluda II downloadable for the price of a regular XBLA game.
