Some pics from Cave's booth:

http://www.gizmodo.jp/2007/02/aou2007ami.html

Slutty gals wearing pig ears and exposing their cleavage promoting Muchi Muchi Pork, and dumbass dancers promoting Cave's new medal game. Nothing too surprising.

Sorry for the off topic, but anyone know if/when the new King of Fighters will be revealed at AOU? Apparently they've finally decided to rebuild the game from the ground up, new sprites and all (according to posts on TNL, so could be wrong). I'm pretty excited about seeing it.

The Shoryuken forums would be the place to find out. Anything new in that area and they'd be salivating.

I want to see the booth girls in action. I expected them to be a bit more ...meaty, though. [/slightly disappointed]

Loads incredibly slow, but that´s my connection. Has the traditional Raizing start sequence (starting from some kind of headquarter, then loading), but the scoring mechanic looks more like a Cave thing.

Wow -- never thought they'd come up w/ a song more annoying than the one in Pink Sweets.

It was nice of them to put it in the first stage so you get to hear it every single time you play.

THIS is the actual in-game music? With all this annoying singing?

I doubt it. It must be a promo song like what Pink Sweets got at the AOU last year.

It sort of looks like the character is running around (commando style) but theres certainly no interaction with the background... Must be my eyes.

LOL, I was thinking the same thing. Hopefully it was just a promotional song playing at the booth.

I doubt that too, it´s just that I interpreted NTSC-Js comment that way. Anyways, the large enemies in stage 2 looks great, and the stage 2 boss reminds me of DOJ/Ketsui somehow - it seems that gameplaywise both styles (Cave and (Neo)Raizing) are finally combined.

Yea I was mistaken, its just a promo song (didn't watch the whole clip).

Anyways, looks like a lot of fun. I'm gonna go brave the lines tomorrow and hopefully try it out.

how the fuck can you hear any ingame music over that annoying "muchi muchi paaguu" jingle??

it looks really easy tho? :?

Woah, the gameplay looks very hot. But that song was really annoying, but it is probably just a promo song. I somehow pitty those guys working in this booth, imagine hearing this song the whole day in loop...

Otherwise the game looks awesome, I also like the ingame graphics. Looking at this video I really felt the urge to play it for myself. ...which I probably will be doing in say 2013 on MAME ? :?

Well, maybe thre will be a console port. ;)

Yeah, that's true. But I think the difficulty will ramp up in later stages. First stages will (hopefully) be enjoyable playing for score. Controls look cool, and lots of collectible stuff, that's something I find very satisfying. :D
Or maybe the rank will be more essential in this one, if you score good the difficulty will really go up. So that the game seems pretty easy at first... ?

Let's see how it will be, but I liked what I've seen on this video. :) :)

EDIT:
And it doesn't look THAT easy. Maybe it's a good idea to don't crush new shmup players in the first 2 stages.

Well, but it is the way it should be. BBWs tend to be easy as well. How do I know? Ehr...

My impressions:

Graphics: I can't believe it's not polygons!

Character Designs: Crap

Music: Everybody's gonna puke if that song is actually in the game, but that won't happen, right? RiiiiGHT?

Enemy Bullets: where?

Game System: No clue how it works, but looks fun as hell. Kinda like Ibara Black Label mixed with Ketsui (homing options)

Looks like they're using Raizing explosions here and there, but then just boring cave bullet patterns etc everywhere else. Too bad, a real mix of the two styles could have been great. Still, I'm interested to see more.

The stage 2 midboss and boss look nice though. That green however was a poor color choice for the bullets.
