Yeah I really hope this comes out this time. I miss so many games not having the right region system. :/

No, this game is not Space Invaders.

It looks like this game might actually get released in the US for the Gamecube. I saw the news on racketboy.com, but here is the link with the official news from O3's website.

http://www.o3games.net/o3/?page_id=7

Its release date is around February 2007. They also changed the name to 'Radio Allergy'.

Amazon has already listed this game for $19.99. Heres the link to Radio Allergy on Amazon.

Is there a chance to, you know, get in contact with some awesome tiny publisher to have this in Europe as well?

Okay, given that's the gamecube, chances are really slim, but somehow we should try, shouldn't we?

Has anybody played this yet? Would it be worth picking up, or should I save my money and pick up some imports instead?

Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Radilgy is loads of fun and challenge. Spend the $30 to support a domestic publisher, and enjoy the translated Gamecube goodness O3Entertainment is bestowing upon us!

O3Ent officially announced Radio Allergy last Thursday.
check the press release here

It sure sounds like they've done a complete and faithful translation. ...none of this Shikigami nonsense. (I'll take that $5 bet!)

The press release even goes so far as to substantiate Milestone's Zanac and Puyo background...
now I'm looking forward to Tank Beat even more!

Official site is up: http://radioallergy.o3ent.com/

There are music samples, a link to buy the OST, a few screenshots, a trailer, a news heading that only links to the press release we all know about, and a forum.

They're actively answering questions in the forum.

They've translated all the text, including the spam emails that come up. I'm glad they didn't just throw it all out.

They can't arbitrarily remove these anyway. Doing so would permanently set the game into the "Remove message" mode which drops the overall scoring potential (turning off messages kills several enemy formations in the game).

And honestly, a goofy Bangai-O-esque translation would suit the game quite well.

They could easily remove them and not set 'remove message' mode if they had any sort of access to the source code and/or cooperation from Milestone. If you were trying to shit out a port with the least amount of effort required; this would actually be the way to go. I'm just glad they aren't going with the path of least effort.

Given their treatment of Chaos Field, the only thing I'd expect them to do is give us different box-art. They did a really good job there and only translated necessary text. The rest of the game they left alone.

O3 seem to care.

I remember someone mentioning that these guys used to work for Capcom USA and were responsible for all of the US Capcom DC shmup releases which all came over with very little tampering (well, maybe some removed voice, but that may have been a Capcom stipulation).

I might get both too. But you can get Chaos Field for less than that on eBay after shipping.

Now, I thought you already had both games for DC :P

I have Radirgy on DC already also...
