I agree. As this method of attempting an official vote was brand new, when I set the rules, the intent was solely to catch the people who would try to manipulate the outcome on-the-fly which was obviously rampant on the forum software polls....and since this is the internet and all. What ended up happening these last few weeks is that I only ended up disqualifying people with honest intent and honest mistakes. I will attempt to rewrite the rule set a final time to leave behind for future STGTs. One that allows for whoever runs the vote to say that the voter's intent must be considered before deciding if a rule was violated. All providing we run this method again, of course. At least the option will be available.
For a tourney where score posting is based on honesty, I did not follow that ideal by which to also make voting intent a basis of honesty.
For that, I apologize. To MrMonkeyMan too. Neither of you should have had votes rejected. The ruling was to maintain an example about carefully posting in a voting thread and to stop the whole "give a mouse a cookie, half the forum would want a glass of milk" type of analogy

ESP Ra.De. - 4 votes

Anyone feel free to 'slap me with a trout' since I didn't specify saying:
"fook progear" wasn't a vote...I can see how confusing the context there is

No, I admit total fault for your vote. I was trying to ensure the vote count numbers right so much I screwed up something as simple as reading context for one case.
"fork progear" wasn't it. I fucked up on

I cut the screen in half to allow side-by-side windows with Excel to run and input vote data. The entire sentence of every post doesn't stay on-screen with the window size I cut it down to. Coincidently, your bold "Guwange" was cut out of my windows, so when I miscounted the first time, I also did the same thing several times after.
Not my style of an error, I know. my bad. A hard my bad.
