I'm gonna get you bastards.
(I'm also not watching your video Icarus until I do it)

So do the shot and option specials activate the same boss every time (for a certain stage order?). I haven't checked to see yet.I might try and skip Envy for the time being and see if I can make up the missing points somewhere else.
If you get either Shot or Option Special (but not both), the stage 3 or 4 (respectively) influenced Highway boss will pop. (thx ic)Rob wrote:The yellow "feathery" ones?Icarus wrote:The two most annoying patterns are the spiraling lasers from its hands,

Yup, those ones. I cannot judge the direction they move in until its too late, and the gap to get through is remarkably small. There's probably some easy way of getting past without bombing, but I haven't worked it out yet.Rob wrote:The yellow "feathery" ones?Icarus wrote:The two most annoying patterns are the spiraling lasers from its hands,
Yup. The Rivals are tied to stages:Rob wrote:So do the shot and option specials activate the same boss every time (for a certain stage order?). I haven't checked to see yet.
Hiding in the corner worked for me.Icarus wrote:Yup, those ones. I cannot judge the direction they move in until its too late, and the gap to get through is remarkably small. There's probably some easy way of getting past without bombing, but I haven't worked it out yet.
ok what about fuckbucket mk1's rotary guns if they're not all in one place (note i am using carpet)Icarus wrote:@Twiddle:

Bashi2 still takes at least one bomb to remove the more dangerous appendages.
Why on earth are you playing that? ^_-Macaw wrote:Its good to see Batrider getting lots of attention again due to the tournament, I really need to stop playing Hotdog Storm so I can get back into Batrider.
The airmines? Their bullets can be destroyed, there are huge gaps in-between their firing patterns, and the only attack you need to worry about is the spread that Bashi fires, which is easy to dodge. If you can anticipate the attack - you'll see the hatch under the main body of Bashi open up - you can drop a charge right in front of Bashi and do lots of damage while avoiding/destroying the airmines. Usually Bashi will shift attack patterns after four sets of large missiles.Twiddle wrote:ok what about fuckbucket mk1's rotary guns if they're not all in one place (note i am using carpet)
I'll have to try that next time. Thanks for the tip. ^_-Rob wrote:Hiding in the corner worked for me.Icarus wrote:Yup, those ones. Ive never seen any extra attacks with the airmines before. In fact, I've never seen the green fireballs you've mentioned before. Are they not rank dependent?Twiddle wrote:One thing I noticed is that fuckbucket likes popping the airmines and the GREEN TRAILING BALLS OF SHIT if I have any bombs in stock and he kind of stops doing those if I don't have any.
Oh, there's nothing but the airmines in mk1 (and they only pop if I have bombs), but the GREEN TRAILING BALLS OF SHIT in mk2 only pop up if I have any bombs in stock, but when I don't he just throws the lame trailing mines at me.Icarus wrote:Ive never seen any extra attacks with the airmines before. 8.49mil by the end of Stage 6 with Strawman (A).....How?
Strawman on his own cannot unlock extra bosses.
Wait a minute....I suppose you're right-> 5.5mil to ST6 start then a full 3mil from ST6.
