Thanks!!in these days I don't have time for play, but I'm training against the 5°mid-boss to improved my counter; this mid is very hard and makes me crazy..my best is 148.xxx but I think I can reach 200.xxx....now I bought a new seimitsu and sanwa stuff!!

@kotaro: nice run up until the 5th stage. You gotta practice that more, you only got 30 mil out of it! 150+ mil isn't too hard with some practice (though admittedly, I only have about 10% consistency on this lately). Good luck!

@MJR: nice score (normal mode I assume), but you didn't quite make the hi score charts! Currently, you need 4.95+mil to get into the #30 slot in Normal mode (every table has a max 30 slots). Keep at it and you'll beat your score in no time.

I have hit a wall. If I can string my best stuff together, I'm sure I could get 400, but I always fuck up somewhere.

@kotaro: How fast are you tapping for the stage 2 midboss. I get there with 30,000 counter, but I only get it up to 50k or maybe 55k, but it immediately drops down to like 45k. I almost always finish him with about 48k, which doeesn't seem that good to me.

Also, what about the big arm things on stage 3. I usually tap A. I get the laser counter up to 1,000, but I can almost never get the main counter over 40,000. Sometimes 50,000, but it seems I'm lucky. (I'm starting at 17,000 or so).

Maybe I can help you GaijinPunch, on the mid boss of stage 2, it s normal, it s compulsory to loose 10.000 hits when you beat the 1 st form. I usally finish it with a 60.000 hit counter, my record is 68.000.

For the big arm of stage 3, at the begining I always got the same hit as you, but now I usually arrive on it with a 30,000 hit counter, with the A button it goes up to 45.000 and after, I go really really close to the little left part and use C button. After that, I usually have a 65.000 hit counter. my record is 78.000.

I dont think that it will help you, but maybe...

@GaijinPunch: I tap C very very fast but I haven't good buttons on my stick..sometimes, also in pcb version with a good sanwa buttons I can reach 85.xxx, but I arrived against the mid-boss with 40.xxx using the same tattics of the dvd for improved my counter on nenabushi--
In the first arm of the 3°stage I start to improve counter holding C tapping very slowly A than I start to tap only A...In the pcb version the part of the stage before the arm gone very slower than the ps2 version son I can reach 45-50 counter, but not every time..I start this part with 23+...

Great third stage, about 150 mil. Got to the 4th stage with 3 lives, and barely made it to the mid-boss Really need some pratice on that one.

Thanks. I'll play around a bit (although I'm taking a break). I have very mixed results on stage 3 right arm. I always get the laser counter up to 1000, but sometimes I kill the thing too early. My record so far is a bit over 60,000.

@GaijinPunch: the arm I think is a very difficult pert of this stage....You've to put reko on the left border of the stage when the arm appears tappaing A, the laser touchs the arm but not dameges it too much----

Hi Toby (and Lun),

I set up a "Processing settings" file for VirtualDub (I use version 1.6.16) that can fix your problem. At least it should!
Try in this way:
1- download this: http://www.arcade-extreme.com/jck/my_others/toby.vcf
2- load your avi file (the one with desynched audio that you put on megaupload) in VirtualDub
3- load toby.vcf file from File->Load Processing Settings menu
4- save your video again with these settings

The filter should speed up audio enough (0,02 milliseconds/second) to sync it with video.
To make this work you should install LameACM encoder (a lame version usable from within VirtualDub). Otherwise go to Audio->Compression menu and select another audio encoder (but I suggest LameACM).

If this should not work I can upload somewhere the synched version of your video with LameACM compressed audio.

About video: for better video quality try to use Deinterlace filter (without / with) and remember that the longest side (height in this case) should be 4/3 of the shortest (width in this case).

If something is not clear, feel free to ask (by PM too).
