To me, it sounds more like "To-kay!"

"NO WAYYY" from Smash TV i think

"WHAT!?!" - I'm suprised no one has mentioned Symphony of the Night yet. The whole freakin' game is filled to the brim with awesome sound effects. Like the sound of Galamoth's lightning attack or that sound that is made when you perform a shield rod spell without a shield equipped and the Gradius 'gears' pop out. tink!
Godzilla was an inside job

- The hit sounds in Streets of Rage 2. The one for the lead pipe is awesome.
- The Compile 1UP jingle.
- Ninja Warriors: "Retreat!", "No damn way!", and the sound of your knife cutting into the enemies.
- Chase HQ: The sound of your car smashing into the criminal's vehicle. Both versions have some decent voice acting for Raymond and Nancy.
"Hold on man... PUNCH the pedal!"
"Where you going man? The bad guy's going (left/right)."
"Guh-reat."
"Let's go Mr. Driver!"
"This is Nancy at Chase Headquarters. You keep puttin' around like that & time's gonna run out. Over."
"You're a mediocre driver, brother. See you later."
-The roar of the Salamander stage 3 dragon when it dies.
-Doom I & II: The roar of a Baron/Knight of Hell, and the bloody splat of an imp when you gib him with a rocket.
-Elevator Action II: The sound when you insert a credit, and Red Suit's taunt after you complete the 2nd stage. "Crush the old order & create a new society! Gyahahahahahahaha!"
-Darius Gaiden: That explosion when a boss bites it.
-Terminator 2 (arcade) : "Excellent." Try to start a game without inserting coins to hear "No way Jose".
-RayForce: The absolute best boss explosion sound in a shooter. PERIOD.
-Rolling Thunder: "UGH!" (Bad guy death)
-Shadow Dancer: Joe Musashi's chants before starting a Ninja Magic attack and the "Huyaaah!" that follows.
Kinect? KIN NOT.

I could talk about ace shmup explosions all day, but one of my favourite sounds is the death scream of the Fire Demons in SotN (in the Necromancy Lab).

The sound that those inky black threads make as they worm their way into your character in Shadow of the Collossus. I also love the disembodied voice that tells you where the next target is, and the rushing echoing sound that comes just before it speaks. The whole game is an artistic tour-de-force.

>The Goonies (Famicom) -The sound when you collect all the keys to advance to the next area.

>The Konami pause sound.

>The voice clips in Rival Turf/Rushing Beat

>The "musical" pause jingles in some Capcom SNES releases, such as Final Fight series, all Street Fighter II's, and Super Ghouls N'Ghosts

>The sound effect when Strider Hiryu dies. That is awesome as hell. Also some voice clips from the game:
>" HOO GUBBLE DUBBLE", "WHOGOTTAYKEESH" - Amazons in level 4
> OOOOOOOOWAAHHHH!!!! -The muscleman midboss in stage 1.
> "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" - Grandmaster Meio

If anyone's familiar with Son Son II for the PC Engine, the sound that alerts you when you're low on energy is the same exact sound effect of when you flip the cursor through your weapons menu in the NES Megaman games.
