By mid level 2 i've lost all 3 lives due to the control system and the fact i'm playing on a pad, which is a bad idea anyway.
I am planning on a joystick purchase
I fancy the reverse control system because as you move away your firing goes in the direction of what your moving away from. I tried normal but it screwed with my head.
The main problem I have is realigning straight.. or for some reason if a tower is shooting straight down I will literally stay beside the line of fire until it stops to get in line with it. I know I can just swivel but it doesn't clock with my brain until afterwards. I had this sort of problem with Ikaruga, my head just couldn't compute the polarity thing.
I guess my gameplay brain works on the basis of "lining-up". And for the life of me I cannot reprogram my head around UD's unfamiliar control scheme.
Any tips to help me out.
