A final and basically complete build was dumped!
It plays well in emulator (I use Simple64) and is a lot of fun.

Re: ViewPoint 2064
I think I tried a built that was dumped about a year ago and that did indeed not work. Can you confirm that this one indeed works on original hardware?

Re: ViewPoint 2064
I 1LC'd the new dump tonight and really enjoyed the game. This would undoubtedly be one of my favourite N64 game had it actually been released. Some really funny Darius-esque boss names too.
Some observations:
1: You unlock ta Vs Boss (boss rush) option on the title screen after beating the game once.
2: The "Invisible items" counter is for the Gold pick-ups. You get them by destroying a large number of background items (the boxes in the first section of stage 1, those exploding dandelion things in another stage) in certain sections. Beside giving extra point, they also fully refill the Wave gun bar.
3: In the new build unlike the 2020 one, you need to satisfy a requirement to be able to unlock the Left side after beating a boss. You unlock it by destroying enough of specific enemies in certain sections (for stage 1, it's the pillars in the section before the boss. for stage 3 [if you choose right > right]], it's the pillbug things in the isometric section with the mines). If you satisfy the condition, a message saying "Left branch ok" will flash in the bottom right of the screen.,
For anyone struggling to get the new dump working on an everdrive: select Rom Config (prior to booting up the game) ----> change the save type to EEP4K. I don't know how it works on a Summercart or MiSTER but I assume they have something similar.
It does but you need to set a save type or it'll freeze after the Racdym logo.

This does look pretty cool, but I could see it drawing some unfavorable comparisons to Starfox 64 though.

This works on real hw and mister fpg ... you have to add a line to the nintendo database file on mister to tell it which sram it uses and on everdrive enable 4k sram saving.

I am so glad, this could be found. A little Yule wonder for me ^^
Hope this gets a Release on cartridge somewhere (sadly bought one before of the not so complete version). Probably someone designes a Manual and Box as well, now that its complete
