Even though I have a handful of the games on it already, the collection still sounds like pretty good deal to me. I absolutely love Magic Sword.

I actually really enjoyed Commando 3 and Rocketmen, despite both of them having some obvious flaws (WotB's clearly Genndy Tartakovsky-inspired art hardly being one as far as I'm concerned ;)). Joint Strike just seemed like a waste to me, though. I think making it at the standard 'vertizontal' screen ratio would've been ok; but stretching it all the way out to full widescreen was just absurd. Beyond a certain screen width, your ship's horizontal movement simply starts to feel slow... and at this width, it feels reaaaally slow. Really a shame since you can tell they did actually put some effort into the sound, graphics and presentation.

I really liked 1942: Joint Strike. It deserves some sort of re-release.

To be honest, this game isn't that bad really, otherwise the 3d graphics look gorgeous. Maybe like most 3d remake game from a 2d it isn't highly appreciated because of the difficulty being too easy, this game isn't any exception, it is the easiest in the 194x lineup

Possibly why I liked it so much. There was an achievement for doing a 1CC and it was rewarding enough. Sometimes it is nice to not be punished by a shoot 'em up.
