Been a while, but good news now!

Chapter one has been remade with better quality.

Now, due to these latest scans I got including a contents page, I know exactly on what page each chapter begins and ends. Due to this, I've revised the file names to reflect the actual page numbers from the book. The observant will notice that chapter 1 is supposed to start on page 19, but the images start with page 20 - there seems to be a chapter title page missing. Nothing I can do about that. Pages 3-18 also don't exist - according to the content page, it's an art collection. Would of course be nice to get scans of, but there's none of that yet. Also, due to this page numbering revamp, the provided download will include both the newly remade chapter 1, and revised page numbers chapter 2 - no separate chapter 1 download, sorry.

Available in high quality and not high quality. Hint: You want the high quality one. I might remake the not high quality chapter 2 sometime to make the text look a little less ass.

EDIT: Okay, wow, I'm retarded - in the non-HQ one, pages 35 and 36 are the same page. This is because I'm retarded and apparently saved page 36 as page 35, too. The .rar has been updated, and you can also just grab the individual page here.

Chapter 3 will come... well, eventually, when I actually have scans and a translation for it.

Hoping to get some more done this weekend. I'll have to contact Kennyman666 and see if he's still up for assisting. I've been trying to get back into the swing of things after my trip back to America, but I haven't forgotten this!

I've got about 30 more pages scanned. Currently working on the translation whenever I have time. It's coming.. just slowly.. The most difficult part is doing the scanning. I don't know how those scanlation guys can do a 400 page manga. It took me over an hour to do ~20 pages.

Are there any issues cleaning up pages, perhaps?

For In The Hunt, I'm imagining that I would debind the pages probably and then scan in four pages at a time and then do slices. I'm not completely confident about splaying the tanko open and scanning.

I don't know about cleaning up, because kennyman handles that - but I have completely destroyed my Ibara book in getting these scans done. I initially tried to be careful, but the scans were off-center and low quality so I decided to sacrifice one book "for the cause" and just cut the pages out at the binding.

Another approach is to gently iron the spine of the manga which will loosen up the glue so you can separate the pages. I don't know if the Ibara manga is paperback or hardcover though...

Anybody want to take over this project? I have chapter 2 fully scanned and translated, but I really cant be working on scanlations while I'm at the office.. haha. All you would need to do is take my scans and paste the text into the word balloons. Easy enough for anyone to do, I just don't have the time. PM me or reply here if you're interested.
