Will edit when more details emerge. Word on the street is that it's emulation and not a source port. No platforms or date announced just yet. Exciting news!
Is there any news on the release date? I’ve been searching, and I myself cannot find any dates or time frames.
They are taking their sweet time. But hey, no rush. After the recompiled near perfect PC port of Sonic Unleashed somebody will probably just recompile the 360 version and release it for free...
I don't even know the point of this release. There is Raiden Legacy on Steam which people said was broken yet I have had no issues playing it. I run on my Steam Deck even though it said it was unplayable. Works just fine. And the Collection on 360 was near perfect. This needs PS5 and Switch 2 release if anything.
A Hardcore gamers reaction to the Lack of Kinect games.Apparently i could of played Dodonpachi with it if i beat a entirely in Japanese Visual Novel piece of shit game called Instant Brain

Raiden Legacy is a mess and even MAME doesn't do the audio/video 100% properly on these games. Take a good look at the reviews on Raiden Legacy and you'll see how the sound is commonly called bad. The 360 version is great, but can't be played on an Xbox One or newer (it's not on the backwards compatibility list) and the hardware is prone to dying.
Assuming this is going to be the standard PS5+Switch+Xbox+Steam combo, this will make for a significantly more accessible package.

GSK is reporting that MOSS is saying that Remix Collection will be discussed at Shooters Fes, so we'll be hearing more around June 14th/15th.
Fingers crossed that's actually what the MOSS segment is! I'm looking forward to hearing more about this collection.

I have the PCBS and haven't noticed a difference. It is not like I am playing the RF2 or RFJ 2000 versions which were just CRAP. I will try again with my headphones and see if I hear any problems but I was playing the other day and it was just fine. I wish the 360 version was backwards compatible.

Yes, the Seibu Kaihatsu single-layer pcbs of "China region" Raiden Fighters Jet 2000 & Raiden Fighters 2 were sold with the crappy Oki-based sound chip on-board and also with the good Yamaha sound chip installed as well on some of the other single-layer SPI boards. Of course, YMMV depending on which one is bought in the end -- they are still considered genuine single-layer SPI pcbs "through-and-through."

It's highly desirable to play the actual SPI carts of Raiden Fighters, Raiden Fighter 2: Operation Hell Diver & Raiden Fighters Jet with a dedicated SPI motherboard with the better Yamaha sound chip on-board for that cool stereo sound output any ol' day.

The Fes stream today had a TINY segment on this upcoming collection. They showed off some gameplay and went over details---it'll be three separate purchases that you can bundle together. Aiming for a release by the end of 2025. I don't think it's just the Aces port, either, or at least the menus appear different. And it has remixed music, per the collection title.
Three separate purchases? Oof, that's kind of nickel-n-diming. I can't imagine someone buying one and not buying the other two. Do they think fans will see one game and say "Oy! Wots this? I guess I'll give 'er a shot!"
Not that it would matter for me, I would get all of them, it just makes sense to have a single package.
GSK mentioned when recapping the stream that they don't seem to have frameblending so there was some judder visible. Like you say I bet it'll be better on devices with VRR though, same as the 75Hz stuff in Judgement Silversword/Cardinal Sins.
