Alf Clausen, former longtime composer for The Simpsons, age 87, of a brain disorder.
Johnathan Joss, voice of John Redcorn on King of the Hill, age 59 - apparently shot dead by a neighbor, possibly on account of his being gay.

Oh damn. One of the best. Coincidentally was talking about Sly and the Family Stone on Sunday with friends. We were having a discussion about R&B groups that were family members and they came up.
There's A Riot Goin On is firmly in my favorite albums of all time.

Brian Wilson, frontman of The Beach Boys, has passed away at 82 years of age.

Aww crap. That one stings. I've been a Wilson watcher since I was a kid.
