Perhaps APM3 just can't do multiplayer without massive stutter or slowdown?
I'm more inclined to believe that APM3 can't do multiplayer without online option as per Sega's demands.
Sounds a bit more likely, if even the bloody Switch version has multiplayer.
But then why's the Steam version also listed as 1P only?

EDIT: kind of looks like different artists drew different portraits, doesn't it?
The detail on Glinda's mooscles and the clothing in general give me hope, but the Russian dolls look they've been given a hasty, nasty vectoring, and poor Mao Mao's had a pressurewasher taken to her to ensure that she can't be distinguished from any other moeblob on the block.

I just hope that it isn't braindead easy. It would be great if it looped, but that's asking a lot in this day and age. I kind of want fast bullets instead of bullet hell. This, however, just feels the most unlikely of all. Who makes fast bullet shit outside of MOSS these days?
What's the general consensus on the modernisation of Success'
Cotton Reboot/
RnR? Directly comparing the new and the old, what did they add that worked with or enhanced the framework of the original formula, and what were just straight up more modern concessions?
I had a blast with RnR, but I came at it as a Debbie Dumbshit casual who is definitely not conversant with the originals.
I just thought, absent of any gameplay vids, that's as good a line of inquiry for where this journey might take us.
Even if we all know we'll be catching the train out of Kyoto station for the trip.
