General PSA: For some reason the Switch version of Darius II defaults to only 1 extend at 700k. You'll want to go into the options to change that before you play! You need all the help you can get. Luckily extends do not matter whatsoever for score, unlike Darius Extra (or pretty much any other Darius ac game iirc).

Odd. When I checked the options it just showed Extends at 700k with no option for just one. Everything else seemed to match the AC defaults too. I have the regular version, maybe the defaults are different with the limited?

I did check and I was wrong (like a year later lol). Extends at every 700k is the default. I must have accidentally switched something around.

Anyhoo since I've been playing this on the Cozmic Collection I hope to see if I can't get an improvement somewhat soon!

From what I have seen from the Steam and Switch leaderbords it seems that I currently have the second highest scores, and top PS4 score for zones N, O, and P. People that like Darius II and own the Cozmic Collection seriously need to play this arrange, it's so good (even though it's pretty vicious honestly ). Here are the replays

Lots of possibilities for increase. Recovering from a death at Yamato isn't really at big deal for me (almost feels like a cakewalk after clearing Difficulty D), but I stil have some trouble destroying as much ennemies in the late stages without full power. I'd like to learn the full Yamato milk eventually, but not now : I've played enough Darius II and deserve a break

No video for the triple screen community record as I'm not satisfied yet, but you can verify the score in Arcade Archives high-score mode. Since you incentivized to post scores in difficulty A I did so for the other arcade versions as well. By the way I don't recommend it for Sagaia Version 1, you can't even reach the last two bomb upgrades which feels very odd. Will try to come back later this year for more score

Decided to give this a shot after Prickly's heaps of praise for this entry. Still not a huge fan of the route balancing, and how cramped a lot of stuff feels, but its a clear haha.
