I think that if die in the 3stage between the two parts of the body you'll a great part of your score and you have to end your run...your score and your counter fallen down..Now I'm tryng to get 80-90xxx of counter in the left arm..but I can't understand how the dvd player can reach that high counter...

I think he is perfectly placed when the arms blow up. He lives the three lasers on the portion just above the arms, and jacks up the child counters. Again, "I think". I'd have to watch again.

The clear bonus pushed me up mere points above my previous highest score. This was with quite a few fuck-ups too. I got the formation item at the end of stage 3 which cost me dearly (5 million at least, maybe 10) and I also died on the dragon things at the end of stage 4, w/ a 45,000 counter. That was another 10-20 mil probably. I "did" get a little bit of a counter on the stage 5 midboss. About 20,000, but had to bomb not that far after b/c I was in deep shit.

I already beat it, but didn't get an ALL. I no-missed up to stage 4, but I missed the 1-up item, and tired to get a high counter on the stage 5 mid-boss and died twice like an idiot.

Thius would've EASILY been a 300 mil run. I had a 50,000+ counter on the stage 5 midboss, and died right after he went away. If I could've held on for 2 more seconds, I would've gotten the bullet cancel. 30 million of it was from having 3 remains at the clear.

That'll put me into 3rd. I've got a few more days to improve before the next Atelier no Iris comes out, which I'll be playing.

I no missed the final boss. Dropped points on stage 3 and stage 4, and could improve my stage 5 by at least 50-100 mil with some more practice. My sights are set on 500 mil.

Nice score Twe!! The 3° and the 4° stage are critical for improving the score..Actually i can reach 300 milions at the end of the 4° stage but I've to work harder on my 5° stage's score..5°mid-boss must die...I'M going to hate it...

Got the 3rd stage counter up to 45-50k but picked up the formation option, got pissed and lost my concentration and died.
Probably lost 20-30 mil there. 200mil seems possible though.

Picked up the damn formation again , collision box on the options is way too big sometimes...
Also managed to die while invincible on this run, last pattern on the third boss when he goes down to the middle,
I bombed and moved towards the center and died eventhough I clearly saw the "shield" round Reko. Kinda sucks.

Highlights on this run:
-200 mil on Stage 3 (got the counter up to 70K after the right arm)
-Reached a counter of 135K after the Stage 5 midboss
-Came into the final boss fight with 3 spare lives, but managed to lose two
of them due to my nerves getting to me.
-Stage 2 was average, my Stage 4 needs major work (only 50mil on this run, as usual).

My quest for 500 mil continues.

I'm triyng to record my best run on dvd......but till now I only recorded run of 320milion points..damn....congrats for your score improvment...My highlights of my last run are normally:
1°Stage:7.3xx.xxx
2°Stage:48-50.xxx.xxx

4°Stage:300/315(max).xxx.xxx

Thanks Kotaro. I had a run tonight where I had 320 mil at the end of Stage 4, but ended my game at the start of stage 5!

Rapid fire doesn't work on the Stage 5 midboss (unless you set C+ to 3 and don't use C+ 2 in the other parts of the game), you have to tap A and then C by yourself. I do this every time!

Twe, have you ever think to set another button/Hack Fire??
A different C+..you can use it to improve your counter at the 5°mid boss...so you can use an A+ and two C+..Ithink this way goes well----

I assume you're talking about the Maniac mode (rapid fire) world record score? I've never heard of Japanese players getting 2 billion in Arrange mode, but if they have please let us know.
