XRGB-3 is there a way to update the firmware on Windows 10?

When I tried updating on current OS it gave me this message

Try running the updater with different compatibly modes. You could always set up a virtual machine running XP with VirtualBox.

That maybe my best bet even though I hate Virtual Machines... I'll try VirtualBox btw once it's installed would you happen to know how to get USB ports recognized within VB?? I've figured out everything else about VB but that

Last time I had VirtualBox on my old computer it refused to recognize my USB ports. I tried the updater in all compatibility modes it's a no go there

There should be an option to configure how usb devices are handled - wether they connect to the VM by default or if it asks, etc. if that doesn’t work, try different VM software, they usually have a free trial. You could always install XP on a separate drive.
