Just regarding that... That is the 10,000 Guwange uses, but could someone explain why? The 10k I'm used to (and the one shown in both the links) is 万, not 萬. Also, how is it read in this case?

万 is shinjitai(new character), 萬 is kyujitai(old character, based on traditional Chinese, hasn't been used as standard kanji since 1947...China also replaced it with 万 in 1956).
Does anyone happen to know for certain whether "八相弾" should be pronounced as "hachisoudan", "hachishoudan", "hachi soutama", or something entirely different? The term seems to be specific to this game, and I can't remember the rules (if I ever actually knew) for how putting kanji together affects their pronunciation. Also not sure whether "八相弾" should be translated simply as "eight phase projectile", or whether in this case putting the kanji together results in a meaning different than a simple concatenation of each individual kanji's meaning.
