So I want to use my Xbox One Elite Series 2 controller WIRELESSLY on the PS4. Brook makes a bunch of wireless converters but there's nearly no info on the Brook Wingman XE converter (newer version of their Xbox>PS4 "Super Converter"), so I'm seeing if anybody has had luck with these (how they work, any lag, disconnects, weird things happening, etc.). OR, is there any other wireless option/product I should look into? Brook has been AMAZING on letting me use newer controllers on retro consoles so I'm hoping this converter is the same.
The second part of this is I've never used a Xbox One Elite Series 2 programmable controller before (being delivered tomorrow). It seems like I can save 3 profiles (where I remap buttons) to the controller itself, BUT what worries me is the Brook converter says:
I don't want anything crazy - there's four extra paddles on the back of the Elite controller. I just want to remap some buttons to those. Some examples of what's hurting my hands and I want to remap: clicking L3 in Horizon Zero Dawn to run literally ever other second hurts (sorry, I can't wait for her to walk slowly over...), so I want to program that to one of the back paddles (played 100+ hours by remapping L3 to Circle, but that's not ideal as I can't control the camera with the right joystick and at the same time hit Circle). If Xbox One Elite Series 2 controller is used, please turn off controller profile settings to prevent interference with Wingman XE’s Turbo or Remap settings. As Xbox One Elite Series 1 controller is incapable of turning off profile settings, using Xbox One Elite Series 1 controller might result in Remap function overlapping.
Another example is I just started playing God of War like an hour ago, and combat seems to go: throw axe R1/R2, recall axe Triangle, throw axe R1/R2, recall axe Triangle, over and over and over again and needs to be done quickly... So that is hurting my hand as well (plus I don't understand how you're supposed to also aim with the right joystick and hit a face button at the SAME time... like I only have one thumb on my right hand...) so wanted to remap Triangle to a paddle as well (or change something up so I can comfortably play the game).
