Did you get it when you couldnt get a JNX unit? What was the price for the non-Jamma version?Fudoh wrote:more infos here: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=62166&hilit=cmvs
I've got the CMVS version without the additional Jamma extension. Works very well. Units back then had off spec RGB levels. Component was fine. With a little modding (RGB levels, restored stereo, battery) those are nicely working units.
TimeHarvest makes the machines, so I doubt they will have a secret channel where they sell their product at a significant discount.bobrocks95 wrote:Saw it cheaper on taobao, but I think taobao won't tell you shipping costs until you've already ordered and they've received it at their warehouse.
Don't mind the base price raise, MVS boards are only getting rarer and it looks like a great kit now that the issues are resolved. Just shocked it would take that much to get it to me from China, when usually it's, well, free.orange808 wrote:As always, this hobby is about moving quickly.
Bob, you have a link to that? The only Tao Bao site I can find is in Chinese and G Translate does not appear to like it.bobrocks95 wrote:Don't mind the base price raise, MVS boards are only getting rarer and it looks like a great kit now that the issues are resolved. Taobao is indeed Chinese only. Here's the link on their website:Josh128 wrote:Bob, you have a link to that? Yeah they are obviously attempting to give the appearance of better pricing of the product while profiting off of the shipping. Lame.
Hopefully my MV-1C board coming in from China will be functional and good for the upcoming kit.
As far as I can tell, my RGB levels are fine, but I don't own the equipment to properly test. So, that's not something we know for sure.bobrocks95 wrote: Fudoh or Orange, do you know if the newer units have proper RGB levels and stereo audio? Any other problems with them, or the original units?
I have the red case and no desire to take it apart, so I won't be photographing the board on the Neo Geo.bobrocks95 wrote:
I'll read through the original thread, but any info on what chips are used for the RGB/component circuits as well?
