The guy who runs the local import shop used to have Sonic R as his license plate on his Integra. Had a Dreamcast in there with Sega logo's all over the car. Even a Sega grill he had done up somewhere. It blew an engine but I'm not sure if he's sold it yet or not.

Necro time.
Stupid state is $30/year for 6 characters and $100/year for 7. This will have to do.

That doesn't make sense to me. There is a smaller supply of 6 char plates, which is usually a factor in pricing. Must be the ink. Awesome anyway. I remember getting a custom license plate just because it was my year to be required to buy fresh new plates and I figured I might as well get customs if I have to. But I didn't even think of a shmup plate!

Out of all these ideas, NOMISS strikes me as the most appropriate level of cocky obnoxiousness for a custom license plate. But people would probably just think you're a bachelor for life or something. ("No missus.")

A few years ago there was some crappy car in Watford with an R TYPE plate. It wasn't even intentional.

Was it a Honda Civic Type R? If so, that would have been cool. Cooler if they had painted it off-white with red highlights and blue window tints.
