ONSLAUGHT RAIDEN FIGHTERS, English Track Listing available

Post by rtw »

Strychnine delivers! Here is the complete track list for Onslaught Raiden Fighters translated. After umi filled in the last track I have updated the list to reflect the new changes.

Once again thank you for all assistance!

Not entirely sure, but I do recognize the last three Kanji as "Hikooki", which means "airplane".

So, it could mean "airport".

You were basically spot-on Alluro...

-> 味方飛行場
-> 味方 + 飛行(場)
-> mi.kata + hi.kou.(jou)
-> friend/ally + air(port)

I would translate it as "Allied Air Base (Stage)".

note: airport is lit. aviation place [hi.kou + jou] ... airplane is lit. aviation machine [hi.kou + ki].

That's a damn good scan btw... heh.

I got my own copy of Onslaught just recently as well!

I remember the Raiden Fighters 1 and 2 music tracks that were included with a previous release of the RFJet OST had actual track names. For example, the drum'n'bass boss area theme in RF1 was titled "Mui-Mui-Moo" and the final stage in RF1 was titled "Invade Your Mind".

I wanted to make a new post for this, but I remember the thread for RF Onslaught was here. I came up with song names of my own for the RF1 and RF2 songs, and kept the RFJ OST names for the others (denoted by asterisks). Here goes:

Raiden Fighters 1:
Forest Stage - "Regiment"
Airport Stage - "Task Force"*
Maritime Stage - "Ahead Flank"
Train Stage - "Steam Flow"
Arctic Stage - "Glacial Gauntlet"
High Altitude Stage - "Cataclysm"
Final Boss Stage - "Invade Your Mind"*
Boss Area - "Mui-Mui-Moo"*
Boss Fight - "Mashin-no Machine"
Staff Roll - "Brought You Peace Again"*

Raiden Fighters 2:
Ally Airport Stage - "Battallion"
Swampland Stage - "Tight Rope"*
Train Stage - "Steam Demand"
Beachhead Stage - "Brutal Beach-head"
Superfortress Stage - "Soaring Behemoths"
Desert Stage - "Illegal Operation"*
Final Area - "Psycho-Ravage"
Boss Area - "Error"*
Boss Fight - "Aku-machina"
Final Boss Fight - "Crimson Gaze"
Staff Roll - "Destiny"*

I'm slightly confused :) Are you saying that all RF1 & 2 were included in a previous version of a Raiden Fighters Jet OST ? I.e. all three games were a part of the same package ?

Just four songs each from RF1 and RF2 were included in that previous version as bonus tracks, which are denoted by asterisks in my self-named tracklist. Those names are what the music tracks were named in that OST.
