Anyone preordered Last Hope yet?
Anyone successfully preorder Last Hope for the Dreamcast? I'm just wondering. If someone has, how did you go about doing it?
I just went to the main website and e-mailed them about preordering a DC copy. Hopefully they'll get back to me with further instructions.

Not sure that's the best idea... people who drop $500-$700 (whatever the official price is now) on a game tend to have somewhat biased opinions.I'd rather hear what the AES people have to say about it after it drops than pay for it on DC without having any clue at all.
It'll probably be a real port, as the DC is quite easy to develop for, and distributing the game in emulated form packaged with any of the existing emulators would be illegal to the best of my knowledge. I'm guessing the game is written in C and not asm.I know it's not out yet but can anyone venture a guess as to whether the DC version will be specially built, or basically just the NGCD version packed with an emulator?

We here shall not rest until we have made a drawing-room of your shaft, and if you do not all finally go down to your doom in patent-leather shoes, then you shall not go at all.

Good point. At least shooter fans are fairly fickle.it290 wrote:Not sure that's the best idea... people who drop $500-$700 (whatever the official price is now) on a game tend to have somewhat biased opinions.
I'm willing to bet this game is not-so-hot in the gameplay department. Time will tell I guess...

My apologies to everyone for making this immature thread. Apparently I heard it was being released on April 20th, the DC version that is, and that information is definitely faulty. The game isn't due to be released for a long while. Like I mentioned before, The guys at the official site wrote me back with the dates "Q4 2006/Q1 2007". Anybody know what the Q's stand for?
