I had already suspected someone would rope down from the ceiling in the dead of night, snatch the PCB, trigger a fire alert, and exit disguised as a firefighter.CStarFlare wrote:Heist.

Somebody from the former CAVE team must know the burning procedure pretty well, and have access to the hardware to do it, i would assume.spmbx wrote:The most interesting thing to me is still how the hack works if it really is running on cv1000.

Same. That's what I'm here for. I don't care for Pink Sweets, but the prospect of hacking CV1000 hardware is interesting.spmbx wrote:The most interesting thing to me is still how the hack works if it really is running on cv1000.
CV1k has very little security, the only thing that would make hacking on it weird is the program is compressed on the flash. So you need to write a decompressor to get at the original, then a new compressor to create the data to put back onto the flash. Not really a ton of work for that.Sumez wrote:Funny, I thought they had all kinds of encryption security measures
