Re: Dragon Blaze (Switch)
Other than the usual Zerodiv issues (no mapping to shoulder buttons and the scanline option just being an overlay on the bilinear filter instead of the nearest neighbor filter for some reason) this is a good pickup for 8 bucks. Dragon Blaze is definitely one of the better and less same-y looking 2D Psikyo games for sure.

One or two weeks/months or releases? Sol Divide will keep me busy until it's out for sure, still can't finish that last 'boss after boss' stage no matter the difficulty settingCRP wrote:Eu shop is usually one or two after jp release. When it comes to these releases.

I'd say 1 or 2 weeks.werk91 wrote:One or two weeks/months or releases?CRP wrote:Eu shop is usually one or two after jp release. When it comes to these releases.

The technical bonus seems very anal in this. I mean, I know it's a technical bonus. But I swear I've thrown out my dragon into the core at least once!! Still haven't ever gotten it.

The range should be pretty lenient (easier to estimate than Strikers 1999's at least since it's just the range of the dragon-shot, and the dragon-shot's range is actually pretty long for a "melee" attack) but the time window can be pretty tight. It varies between bosses but I think on average it's shorter than it is in Strikers 1999. I haven't played the Switch version so I can't say if anything somehow changed from the original.

I just recently picked this up last month on the PS2. Paid a hefty price for both the Pal and JP version. Glad more people can enjoy this little gem.
Hope there are no emulation issues like the PS2 port of the game.

I have one, thankfully.
