I've been getting up to speed on 240p compatibility. My TV will display the image just fine but I was hoping to find a PS1 and N64 game that had "chaos emeralds" (sprites that blink at 60Hz) to test the processing.
So far I've tried MMX4 and he blinks as expected when he gets hit, but IDK if it's full speed blinking or not. Consoles are not modded so I can't use the 240p test suite

Are those the only two systems you have? I have physical carts (available online) for NES, SNES, and Sega Genesis with the 240p test suite on them - so no hacked system needed (and not even an everdrive).

I also have a SNES and dreamcast but I'd prefer not to buy a cart just for testing purposes
240p test suite for dreamcast works but the only cables I have for it atm are composite. With the CVBS line connected to the Y of my TV's component input, the drop shadow test gives me a combed shadow when the cursor is stationary, but looks more or less correct when I move the cursor.
I was hoping for some actual in-game content to compare results

Just about any 2D fighting game will use flickering sprites for shadows.

hooked up the SNES CVBS to TV's Y port and been playing some super street fighter 2 - everything looks fine to me
also tried a few more PS1 games (using PS2 with YPbPr cables) and they look just fine too
still not sure why the drop shadow test using DC 240p suite looks combed when it's not moving around... but I think I'm good regardless

SSF2 (and other street fighters) has no flicker shadows. They do have flickering hadokens.
Fatal Fury 2 / Special have them, although they're are also transparent.
F-Zero has flicker shadows for opponents.
