Running Retroarch on SNES Mini - FBA Dip Switch saving?

Post by emphatic »

So, I purchased a SNES Mini and I really like how easy it was to get arcade games running on it. The missing piece however is that when you change the dip switches, they aren't saved. Anyone else run Retroarch FBA core on their SNES Mini who has already figured this out?

I believe once you make any changes in the RetroArch ports, there is a separate setting - possibly in a different area of the menu - where you have to go in and manually save changes. Different updates to the RA ports also apparently handle saving different/better.

Mini hacking is awesome. Most of the info/discussion goes on over at Reddit. You can probably get better information than mine, and anything else you need, over there.

Thanks. I think maybe the folder structure for NVRAM an CFG files aren't in place or something. I did try using game saves, and that seems to work, but in addition, the game became quite laggy.
