lol JP, I'm a sega zealot like yourself but we've all got to accept times change, I'm glad I've come back to the mainstream, playing saturn at weekends PS2 during the week.
£10 says JP has a ceramic PS2!
I'm not pro sony or microsoft but fukkit got to play games somewhere.
I read a few days ago from unofficial sources that devcos are really struggling to program games at 1080p and all devcos have switched down to 720p instead.
No big deal in the real world, but in Sony's eyes thats another promise down the toilet.
This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.

And the BS starts. WTF is this man thinking? Why use blu-ray then? Isn't it fast enough that it requires data to be put onto the HDD and then sent to the system from there? Sony is shooting itself in the foot. That's like selling an appliance without the power cord. Note that nowhere it says the the HDD will be included in the system. Somebody, anybody.. please. Just kill that man. Please, some extremist terrorist cleric declare a fatwa on him. Please.

Wouldn't that actually correspond with the Denan Law though?
Customer: "Hey, it's got no power-cord!"
Retailer: "That way it won't possibly shock you."

At least, that's what they say to counter the very bad news and 1,8 plump they had on the markets...
But hey PS2 gets FFXII tomorrow, so I cannot immagine Japanese gamers to worried about the delay.
I see no reason not to believe this news. There is NO way Sony could've gone with a Spring '07 release and not tanked with this system. That's not to say that it will fly, but they have to release it this holiday season, or it's a dead duck.
