Next, click the link that clearly says "click here to start download". After that, you're at a downloading-starting page that I've never gotten to actually start a download automatically, so just click the blue "こちら" that's a link.

For some reason the executable has "Game Speed" (wait?) set to -4.2%, which resets itself back there no matter what you change it to. I dunno.

Weird, it was set to 0 for me.

Either way, as soon as I go to start the game after selecting the mode and character, the game immediately has a "player not found" error and crashes.

Are you running in Japanese locale, and what is the path you're using?

Yeah, it turns out it just doesn't like running from within a shared folder. Region settings don't seem to matter. I probably should've just tried that before posting lol I'm such a dingus.
