Oh shoot, picked the game instantly just before it labeled a -15% discount... Now it's ¥75 and I paid ¥88 for it. Is it possible to just have that ¥13 back?

If you've played it for less than 2 hours you can just get a refund and repurchase it.

... That is definitely odd. Can you report the circumstances it happened under? and specs? Try to see if we can replicate it.

Not liking the autobomb, the fact it only takes one bomb instead of your whole stock makes it even worse. Would an option to disable it in all modes be too much work? Other from that I have no problems, other than it starting up in Japanese but that was easily fixed.

Seems like a v fun game

BL arrange, practice mode, route B
seemed to happen to everyone I made it try

1.5 seems to work fine overall but BL arrange is refund tier, the slowdown is as bad as on the stream, not streaming it and I have way above minimal specs

Weird. I never saw an invisible stage 5 boss when I played BL Arrange.
(Plenty of slowdown though)

There might have been a reason for that.
Vsync off by default is a nice touch.

Can we get computer specs. Cause the BLA slowdown seems weird that it is happening for some people but not for others. May be related to a specific type of hardware.

Haha. Reminds me of Time Bandits.

The game seems pretty fun, I've never played it before. I'm having a few issues though. I did run into the game starting in Japanese, but I assumed that was because I was in Japanese locale. Not a big deal to me. Also the game freezing when putting into fullscreen for the first time, but that also wasn't a big deal because I've come to expect that from Japanese games.

What does bug me is the main menu in TATE:
http://imgur.com/a/xVBmz
The practice screen looks goofy as well. I don't know if it matters but my resolution is 2560x1440

The biggest issue for me is that when I tap the shot button my ship will shoot for a while and then just stop for no reason, no matter how I tap the button. So I've been having to use the autofire :( I'm using a Hori RAP4, and I haven't had the issue in any other degica game or any other shmup in general.

Also BL scoring seems to be fixed, after killing hivac the chain value seemed to be capped at 99,999,999 while in the original it was at 1,6bil or something

specs:
i5-2320 3GHz quad core
AMD Radeon HD 7700
4GB ram
windows 7

Dodonpachi Dai-ondo in the soundtrack files is a bad rip, full of static. Both FLAC and MP3.

...Don't ask me why I checked that one.

My experience:

(cut and paste the parts others have already said that I've hit:)
-Game defaults language to Japanese
-First time entering fullscreen froze my desktop and locked my mouse so I couldn't even use task manager to save myself. Relaunch and 2nd attempt worked fine. Weird

Got hit with both of those.

BLA slowdown is inconsistent and ranges from "Wait, this is clearly more than they intended, did my CPU just overheat and downclock?" to "Wait, shouldn't this have at least a little slowdown?" on my i5-2500k@4.5GHz with GTX970.

All in all, I don't think it's unfixable, but it clearly seems to be wonky on BLA in particular based on all reports.

i5 4670k

Nvidia 750ti 4 GB

8 GB RAM

Windows 7, 64 bit

Pretty sure it's not my specs, I can also confirm that selecting training mode in BL Arrange, Stage 5 boss will spawn it invisible, Only the side turrets the boss has are visible.

Can also confirm Arrange A missing slowdown.

Omg so many game modes, time to do some reading up and find what's most fun for me. For now, I'm really digging black label mode the non arrange, it lets you switch autobomb off.

Arrange mode ketsuipachi music gave me goosebumps.

the slowdown in BL arrange is quite silly for me too, and it happens at times that make little sense, i5 3570k 4.2ghz and 750ti, win 8.1

I'm not asking for specs because I think your specs aren't high enough, I'm asking for specs specifically to see if it is a certain type of hardware that is producing the issues.

EDIT: Also, replicated the invisible stage 5 boss. Weird.

Okay, so I've just played the game for 109 minutes (Ver 1.5):

- I too experienced the initial game bug when changing to fullscreen for the first time.
- I'm having LOTS of tearing...seriously LOTS of tearing, the bullets even break in half while coming at me. Maybe it has something to do with my 144Hz monitor?

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 (2GB)

It appears that no one ever tried the stage 5 boss in practice at any point?

I never ran into this before. Granted, I didn't run practice, but every normal play-through I did on every mode, all of the bosses appeared (except for Hibachi because I'm not good at the game).

Hell it didn't even happen the first time I tried practicing the boss, after hearing about the bug in this thread.

I was about to come here to report the stage 5 boss in BLA being invisible...

Anyhow:

Game freezes on first time full screen try, no problems after restart
Some MP3s appear to be staticy and unclean cuts (Installed in "New Game DDPR")
Black Label Arrange 5th boss appeared to be invisible as well. My specs:

AMD A-10 6700 APU 3.7 GHz
Nvidia 750ti 2 GB
16 GB RAM
Windows 10, 64 bit

Chalk up another report of crazy slowdown in BLA. Also experienced really bad tearing during some of the boss fights (mostly while playing 1.5). And had the initial freeze when I tried to switch to full screen.. although, I could still move the cursor (I could hear the audio tone still going as I tapped the joystick up and down). The overall menus are not well designed for tate display (would it be so difficult to relocated the general option select below the game mode select once rotation is activated).

My laptop stats:
Intel HD Graphics 5500
Intel Core i5200 @ 2.2 GHz
8 GB RAM
Windows 10, 64 bit

OK so the fifth boss in BLA is invisible outside of practice mode.

I just did a normal run, route A, played sloppy and continued a couple times on stage 5.
Reached the boss...invisible.

What?! This honestly never happened before.

Probably more likely that those people have never played the original version...

But better yet, hard question time.

1. How do you miss a boss being invisible in a Shmup?
2. How do you miss there being no bullet slowdown in Hyper on Arrange A?

Those are rhetorical, by-the-way. We all know the answer.

I just checked and the OST is indeed broken, On both FLAC and Mp3 versions, It's super notorious from track 15 and onwards
