There were only three ports confirmed, but I imagine if they did well more might come. I kind of guess they'd stick with games that were already ported to xbox with higher def sprites. I'm not sure how many more games fall into that category that CAVE still has rights to.

Akai Katana Shin, Espgaluda II BL, Futari BL, Saidaioujou.
Spoiler
POSSIBLE FLAMING APPROACHING FAST

I'm actually tempted to make a poll with the first two, highly likely candidates (the others are sequels and the latter requires actual work in the localization department (I hope I didn't offend Degica, it's not your fault), and also has that little problem called input lag). It'll be titled "Which game will Cave make a crappy or worse PC port of and get away with it (mostly outside of this forums and/or sales-wise)?". Yep, that's the title. Maybe not. Maybe I won't make it at all.
I mean, they did contact superplayers for DFK beta-testing this time, to ensure the port is as faithul as possible, right?
...Right?

It would be ridiculously dumb to stop porting after DFK. We got a region-locked title (awesome) and 2 previously localized games (meh) on Steam. Stuff like Ketsui or DOJ should be a priority IMO.

I'm actually not privy to any information regarding whether CAVE will be doing more after DFK, but I haven't heard anything to indicate otherwise. CAVE does seem happy with the sales numbers on Mushi and Deathsmiles though.

Apologies for the delay in responses! I was away at a convention in Atlanta running a couple of tournaments and such for Degica and was super busy.

That was my thought too, lol. Cause hey, maybe it'll go for a trend like Vert (Mushi), Hori (DS), Vert (DDP Res.), Hori (Akai), but I doubt it, and those speaking said of HD...somethings, Akai Katana is like that.

But since someone has said Cave has had success in the ports that Nick mentioned, it'll be nice if they'll still continue.

Maybe I'll give Akai Katana a second chance.

Never really got into it the first time around.

Less than 10 days lads

I wouldn't mind an Akai Katana port since I've never played it. I've seen a lot of people aren't too keen on it, but from the gameplay I've seen (Not much) it looks fun.

Also, regarding achievements, I don't think you should be able to get them in novice mode (or novice mode should at least have separate achievements). The fact that there isn't achievements for 1CCing the none-novice modes in Mushi is pretty shit

I love Akai Katana but it's already been released outside of Japan. Even region-free titles like Espgaluda II and MMP I'd rather have before Akai Katana.

I really hope SDOJ comes next. It's pretty much the only game at this point that requires me to take out the Xbox 360 to play.

You.

Yes, you. The one screaming, "There's anime girls!" and "The slowdown isn't fixed!" and other slurs I dare not mention.

Tread lightly.

You are one. We are hundreds, thousands. Millions. You aren't just IN the minority; you ARE the minority.

I don't feel awkward or anxious playing Deathsmiles around others, and your words don't affect me. Many others, however, are coming out of their shells for the first time in their lives. This is the first time many are enjoying the beautiful shmup that has been developed for us - and it IS beautiful. Incredibly so. DON'T ruin this for them. We Deathsmiles fans may have our differences, but we will not hesitate to come to the aid of our fellow players, especially against someone who so virulently slurs that which has brought us all together.

Don't take this the wrong way. I don't hate you. I don't fear you.

I pity you.

I'm sorry that you feel this way towards us. I'm sorry that Deathsmiles is such a bane to your existence. And I'm sorry that you are missing out on such a wonderful experience. Mostly, though, I'm sorry that you feel the need to go around and publicly chastise and berate others. I'm sorry that, to ensure your own validity, you need to make others feel invalid. I'm sorry that your self-worth is so infinitesimally miniscule that you have to make others feel less-than-human, at least in your own denatured mind, just to feel whole. I am truly sorry that day-in and day-out you have to put up with your worthless, meaningless, Shakespearean tragedy of a life.

I ask you politely to cease your unnecessary cries for attention, and instead invite you to join our ranks. Uninstall Touhou, start up Deathsmiles, and breathe in the splendour and the amazement of the first stage, and then, maybe, just maybe, you'll see what you've been so hopelessly searching for this whole time.

I'm guessing that with everything being included from the get go, "Resurrection" is going to be $30 instead of $20? Hopefully with a 20% discount or something at launch.

$30 seems a bit steep considering the prices of the previous Steam ports including DLC. I'm expecting something more like $25. Remember that they can still charge for the soundtracks, both 1.5 and Black Label (maybe even Ketsuipachi?).

The Japanese price is 2,980 yen with a 15% launch discount during the first week.

So $28/€25, which will definitely translate to 30 bucks wherever you are.
I'm patiently waiting for rightful rants.

We've just updated Judgement Silversword with online leaderboards, and are hosting a scoring contest!

(I'm currently on the board on normal at ~8.5m. I'm sure you guys can do MUCH better than that)

Speaking of JSS, would it be possible to get an option to disable Vsync? It causes noticeable input lag for me, and having to force it off with RadeonPro is a bit of a pain. I noticed Eschatos has the option built-in.

Edit:
And just to push my luck, a nearest neighbor scaling option too?
